Excellence Award
The Excellence in Research and Creative Activity Award recognizes and encourages excellence in all forms of scholarly research and creative activity. The award is given annually as part of the University Awards for Excellence, presented by the president and provost.
Any faculty member may nominate a colleague for the award.
Eligible faculty are members of the university faculty body in either the tenure track or non-tenure track professorial ranks, including extension faculty and faculty at large. The work recognized may be a single significant contribution or an accumulation of significant contributions that have received national or international recognition. Previous award winners are ineligible for eight years, after which they may be nominated for new achievements.
