Indoor Air Quality
What we do to manage indoor air quality
When a complaint is received, EHS will come to your building with equipment to gather information from those feeling ill and assess the air quality. Poor indoor air quality may result from many sources including poor ventilation, nearby construction work, or vehicles idling near buildings air intakes. EHS will inspect areas of the building for a possible cause to the air quality concern and work together with Facilities to find solutions to the problem.
How you can help
Be aware of your surroundings. If you are feeling ill and believe the cause could be related to poor air quality, report it to EHS as soon as possible. Take note of the time and location when symptoms begin. For additional information on indoor air quality, see the reference links on this page.
